We thought this sign was a very funny way to discourage graffiti. The owner of the house told us that her brother from Australia had painted out some bad words and thought it would be fun to leave a message: "PLEASE DO NOT WRITE". She seemed concerned that we might be taking pictures as neighbors with objections but was willing to pose for us when we explained our appreciation. They do plan to paint over it sometime.
The top of the photo is at the left here. It just goes to show that weeds can overpower sidewalks even in dry desert Utah.
The white shape in the middle of the tree is not a piece of sky, but a noisy white rooster. I didn't know they could fly so high. This particular neighborhood had lots of active roosters. We wondered if they do cock fights.
