Independence Day revisited
This is the first picture Ken took with his new camera.
We got to Midway about 1:30 in the afternoon.
Michael was busy working on the fireworks display.
There was an impressive amount of involvement and cooperation in putting it together. I was amazed at how much it took and how everyone worked together under Michael's direction.
It was an impressive, legal, display. Very personal because we were all so close to it. The fireworks and background were coordinated.
Most of it went off very well.
Bright and exciting.
And noisey.
It was late for the children, and for some of us adults too.
Ellie seemed to enjoy the fireworks. She responded to the lights and the noise, but not in a negative way. Becca held her for most of the evening. Here Sare is giving her a break.
Wonderful color.
Only once did the fire hit a blankets.
The finale didn't come off as planned, but things don't have to be perfect to be very successful. I think that is very very important to remember.

Some of the best things come from unplanned results.
Did DAD take all of these photos? LOVE THEM! THANK YOU! Hoping to see more of his work! --Jennilyn, on John's sign in!
Actually this is the first of his work. You have seen the rest. Almost all of the San Francisco and trip photos are his. I still have to put my my cell phone photos from our trip to Cranberry and the trip home through Madison.
