Yesterday Steven woke up at 5:21 a.m. to celebrate 24 years of life. We had a family dinner with John and Jen and family, Becca and Simon, Michael and Sare, and Emma. He had ordered stir fry and cheesecake. John and Jen brought mint chocolate chip and rocky road ice cream. We had lots of good food and talk. I love and cherish Steven as a friend and companion who keeps me feeling young and needed. He is a great appreciator, a wise and thoughtful thinker, and a sincere communicator. I am forever grateful that he is a part of our family.
