Christmas Castles and a princess
It was interesting to see the darkening sky through the windows. You can see the curtains and a bit of the new color. Simon, Becca and Michael worked on his castle -- the one with the tall white spires. He gave it to Santa Clause because he didn't have cookies to offer.

We are kind of sitting behind the castles we made.

Steven and Alysa did made one-- above and below.

I made the one that is above and below.

Sarah's is the closest one, a castle with a couple in the courtyard -- you can almost see.

Tell me how the castles work. Does everyone first build their creations out of various containers? Love them by the way!
Mostly we use masking tape. You can tape together anything. We collect toilet paper, paper towel and wrapping paper rolls, cottage cheese cartons, soda bottles, food boxes of all sizes and shapes, pill bottles and boxes etc. It is a very creative process to fit them together. This is the first time we've tried using plastic bottle bottoms as windows. We use scissors a lot. After they are fully taped you make powdered sugar glue frosting and decorate them with candy etc. covering up all the tape and cardboard.
