Our youngest son was married yesterday morning in the Salt Lake Temple to Alysa Celeste Maxwell by M. Richard Walker, former president of the Salt Lake Temple and friend. He gave powerful counsel and taught us how to love and reinforce goodness in our spouses without ever commenting on their faults or mistakes. It was a message I needed to hear as I prepare to live and work full time with my husband on our mission. We have had a lot of separate lists and goals, but we will need to be one without unnecessary internal conflict.
March 31, 2010 was a snowy day but not bitter cold. Fine snow during the picture taking. Building up snow and difficult roads during the open house at night. White and white. Today we fly to Kentucky. Nine days of visiting and travel. We will return with 16 days to finish getting ready to leave for the MTC, 23 days to Puerto Rico.
Thank you to all who came to help us celebrate and helped us and helped us.
Expanding family love, each other, our children, their spouses, their families, our children's children, and their future families. We love Alysa. We love Alysa's mother. We look forward to meeting her family. We will love them.
