listening with Steven

Last night with Steven after his long day of work training, his class at SLCC, more work training and then eight hours of work -- we sat talking and listening together. He commented that all his life he never wanted to go to bed at night and he never wanted to get up in the morning.

From a revised perspective he then said,

"It takes faith to go to bed at night. It takes hope to get up in the morning. And it takes charity to live in between."

Much insight and wisdom. No time to write it down this morning. I trust that somehow my soul will remember.
